Welcome back Year One &Two,

We hope that you have enjoyed the Easter break. This term is jam-packed; full of geography tasks, art, music and sports day.

Please remember you’re ‘In it to Win it’, you must read at least five times a week, complete your homework, use TTRS for 20 minutes per week and attend school wearing your P.E kit on PE day. Remember that the extra homework tasks will support you in class and allow you to gain extra Dojo points.

Year 2, we can’t wait for the residential, for two days and one night where we try out great activities like fire making, rock climbing and singing around a proper campfire.

Year 1 we have a fantastic trip planned for you!

We hope that you are enjoying it in year 1/2 and, as always, we look forward to helping you grow both socially and academically.

What parents can do to help:

• Read with your child and sign their reading record with your comments.
• Practice spellings for Thursday’s test.
• Practice timetables for Thursday’s test.
• Inform the teacher of any concerns you have.
